Fort Myers Beach is on the seven mile long island of Estero. At it’s widest, the island is only three blocks wide, with the Gulf of Mexico on the West and Estero Bay on the East. The beaches are powdery white and well maintained. Fort Myers Beaches are considered among the safest in the world because the depths are quite shallow for yards out from the shore. Dolphins cruise the horizon and sea birds dive and float.

Waters in the summer can be amazingly warm and are very often calm and smooth.
